Have you gained or lost weight over the last year? Most people who have arthritis experience weight gain over time. The most common reasons for this are they become more sedentary, but their eating habits remain the same. This equation of the same amount of calories being ingested, combined with less calories being burned equals weight gain. When you have arthritis it is always a good idea to eat a well balanced diet, unless you have identified certain foods that make your symptoms worse.
